The dynamic characteristics and response of a thrust engine tripod of certain satellite determine the dynamic environment of thrust engine, so a passive constrained layer damping project was applied on parts. But the response of this tripod was amplified not as expected on the test. The dynamic characteristics and dynamic response of the thrust engine tripod were analyzed by the finite element analysis software in this text. The sensitivity parameter of the tripod was analyzed to found the reason of response amplification. And structure optimal selection was got by different methods in the interest of suppressing the vibration of the tripod on the key points. According to the results of the sensitivity parameter response analysis and structure optimal analysis, three kinds of reduced vibration plans were proposed at last. All of these will have guidance significance to the thrust engine tripod design and other resembles structures. The major work is follows:The finite element model of thrust engine tripod was set. The dynamic characteristics and dynamic response of thrust engine tripod were analyzed. The mode of vibration and natural frequency of thrust engine tripod were proposed. The dynamic responses of key points were got. Then prove the correctness of finite element models with the method that combines theory analysis and experiment.The dynamic sensitivity responses of nineteen kinds of structure design parameter of thrust engine tripod were analyzed with the target of key point frequency response. The analytic results show that some influence factors contribute to the response amplification together.Three kinds of reduced vibration design of thrust engine tripod - structure form of constrained layer damping, structure form of strengthen plates and filling PUR foam material -were researched. The reduced vibration effect of plans was analyzed and compared. The results show that the plans had some effect of vibration reduction and either of them had its advantages. It could be selected according to practical situation.
