In recent theoretical researches and practical constructions, It is feasible and has a great perspective to apply steel structure to residencial buildings. This dissertation discusses some correlative problems about the steel structure residence building, associating Jiangsu Province Construction Department science project.The detail is in the below:1)Structural design analysis of steel structure residence at the story of 6,12,18 is made under 3 kinds of suite pattern considering different earthquake design levels.Moment resisting frames,brace frame and steel-concrete hybrid structure was adopted in the analysis,and square steel tube,H-shape-steel,concrete-filled square steel tube pillar was applied in each structural system respectively.Contrasting about the safety performance, lateral stiffness,seismic performance, the steel consumption and the performance of the different members is made out between aforesaid structure systems.2)The primary factors of the optimal selection of the structural system of steel structure residence building was listed.After comparing the several kind of optimal selection processes ,AHP(the Analytical Hierarchy Process) is chosen up.Then AHP model based on the influencing factors and there relation is built up.3)The compositive evaluation indexs of each structural systems are selected under different circumstances by AHP.4)The gist for structure lectotype and design consults about the disposal of the lateral resistant system and the member of columns are given.
