Nowadays, environmental protection and energy saving is the global development trend. The ground source heat pump technology is an effective way of environmental protection and energy saving, which use ground source (soil, groundwater and surface water, etc) as the cold and heat source. It also has been a new domestic development direction of making use of ground source. Lake water source heat pump is a kind of surface water source heat pump. The temperature of lake water is steady relatively, so the system will be more stable and productive.The application of the lake water source heat pump needs a certain conditions, so, in this paper, we studied the application of lake water source heat pump system by using one project in the Foshou lake district in nanjing as the research object. First, according to the local climatic conditions and lake water conditions, we have calculated and made sure that the quantity of lake water can meet the demand of cooling and heating load, and we also raised the request of the water quality and the processing scheme by using the open-type system. Then according to the project load, we calculated the intake/drain amount of water and the intake/drain location. Combined with mass, momentum, energy conservation equation andκ-εmodel, wall function method theory, we simulated the distribution of water temperature by using FLUENT. Finally we have got a result that the highest intake water temperature is about 29℃in summer, and the lowest intake water temperature is about 5℃in winter after the system have run 90 days continuously with full load. Thus we can conclude that using this lake as cool and heat sources is completely feasible. By using the Visual Basic software, I have written a simple program. It is convenient for the user to judge the feasibility of using a lake water source heat pump system for a project.This paper is mainly to study and analyze the feasibility of using the lake water source heat pump system and the influence of temperature distribution. The conclusion provides certain basis and support for the development and popularization of the lake water source heat pump system.
