Cival airplanes will face new problems in airport and flight operation in highland areas, which they may not meet in plain areas. The number of airport in high elevation areas glabally is scarce, which leads to lack of navigation stations and low-quality of navigation signals. In addition, complicated terrain conditions, poor clearance environment and degraded flight performance all increase operation difficulties. Satisfying regulatory requirements and ensuring flight safety in this environment have been the concerns in world aviation community. In Civil Aviation Flight University of China, the high-performance aircraft flight training programe include a number of flight concerning high-altitude airports and routes. However, quantitative airport and route analysis have not been done before according CCAR, which is a potential safety risk in flight in these areas. Based on authority regulation and standard,"MA 60 Operational Airworthness Analysis on High Elevation Airport and Route" focus on the problem in 4 aspects: high altitude takeoff analysis, high altitude landing analysis, driftdown analysis and oxygen analysis. The analysis material includes Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), the flight crew operation manual (FCOM), aircraft manufacturer takeoff analysis software and other third-party software, Aeronautical information publication. In takeoff analysis section, the factors limiting the maximum takeoff weight and selection of takeoff speed is discussed. Then take-off analysis table from Guanghan to Lanzhou is caculated using the software from the manufacture. In landing analysis section, beginning from several definition, the factors affecting landing performance is analysed. Landing table from Guanghan to Lanzhou airport is made by performance analysis software provided by the manufacturer.Landing performance analysis is established by flight of MA60 from Guanghan to Lanzhou as an exmple.Methord to driftdown analysis, key steps and MA60's crew operating procedures are discussed according to CCAR 121 R2. Taking the Guanghan-Lanzhou route as an example, by determining terrain profile and route obstacles, caculating net driftdown flight path, driftdown analysis is finished on this route segment. In oxygen analysis section, CCAR121 operational requirements of airborne oxygen systems is discussed. Characteristics and performance of large civil aircraft / MA60's onboard oxygen are analyzed. Combined with the terrain profile from the previouse part and the same route segment, airworthiness limitations and suggestions for improving the onboard oxygen system of MA60 are presented. The research result of this paper will lay a solid safety foundation for the reagulation compliance of China Civil Aviation Flight University's training flight operation, compling with authority regulatory and supervision standards, providing emergency flight plan in training flight.
