With the increasing maturity of the CCD detector's production, CCD aerial camera obtains fast development, especially the format CCD aerial camera, because it is smaller, lighter and relatively simply opti-mechanical, such a series of advantages make the format CCD aerial camera get more and more attention paid from the aviation fields. What is more, the successful research and mass production of the large format color CCD detector brings an unprecedented revolution to the color aerial digital camera.This thesis focuses on the key technologies of the large format color CCD aerial camera, mainly including:Firstly, the characteristic of visible light's atmospheric transmission is briefly analyzed and atmospheric radiative transfer model software '6S' is used to calculate 0.4~0.70μm spectral atmospheric transmittance at 30km altitude along with the atmospheric transmission signal strengths to the different ground targets.Secondly, the working principle of the large format color CCD aerial camera is analyzed and the structural parameters of the optical system according to the requirements are also demonstrated. Ultimately, the form of double-gauss is adopted and an optical system is designed with the focal length 360mm, entrance aperture 83mm, full field of view 10°and its MTF is no less than 0.6 at 83lp/mm. Moreover, a check to the performance of the preliminaryly designed optical system is carried out as well.Thirdly, the performance of the large format color CCD aerial camera 's optical system is fully analyzed, mainly including: (1) the circumstance adaptability of the optical system is studied and optical passive athermalization is given; (2) the effect of the stray light, especially the light outsides the available field and the ghost, to the performance of the optical system is evaluated, a baffle to the optical system is designed and an opti-mechanical model is established to simulate its ability to eliminate the stray light; (3) tolerances are distributed to the optical system and the tolerance analysis results are given both in the condition of normal temperature and pressure as well as in the actual working condition.Lastly, the color interpolation recovery algorithms to the bayer format images achieved by the large format color CCD aerial camera are researched and analyzed, then the simulation of the color interpolation recovery algorithms is carried out and the simulation results are evaluated both qualitatively and quantitatively.
