With the rapid development of global infrastructure industries, civil and transportation construction are in full swing, space resource has increasingly been nervous, especially the urban traffic of more developed cities the traffic jams are serious at present, per capita residential area is small, it caused big problems and hidden trouble. Looking for space underground has been started at home and abroad, so as to solve the current land intensive problem and the compact spaces. The increase of underground project certainly will bring two projects of nearly connected or more, to one fold underground projects, stress and deformation of such projects are more complex.This paper discusses the research situation of such problems at home and abroad and gives a summary at present, and at the background of a commercial street in a city for nearly connected tunnel engineering. This commercial street has two floors, the first underground floor is just above the tunnel, the second underground floor is embedded the same depths of tunnels. In the process of the research, the author divided the commercial street into three parts by the software of MIDAS/GTS. Firstly, analyzed the effect of each district at different excavation direction on the deformation of existed tunnels and the safety of the street, then, summarized of the mechanical and deformation properties of the commercial street excavation in different position. Secondly, made a simulation of the mechanical street excavation in six kinds of specified orders of seniority, and then obtained the most advantageous construction process through the comparison of the results, what's more, explained why the order is the best. Thirdly, the author summarized the mechanical properties of the commercial street excavation in the most advantageous construction process, and obtained the conclusion of the construction of the commercial street which is beneficial to the tunnel. At last, pointed out the control point of the existed subway when the commercial street was in excavation.The nearly project of Business Street and tunnel in the study is a typical model in domestic. This paper not only give the result of the construction order for the similar projects in the future, but provided the theory basis and the analysis method of judging the construction in different section for the nearly project underground. For saving the underground engineering cost and improving the safety of the construction, this paper provides technical support at the same time.
