The Study Of Space And Form Of Underground Street In Underground Space At Subway Stations

In the recent years, with the development of city subway traffic system and the trend of intensive utilization of urban land, people pay more and more attention on the use of the space underground which is develop with the construct of the subway station. Based on this condition, a research was carried out in the paper on the underground street which is known as the most dynamic public place. For the reason of its location and feature, the underground street had two functions: one is to construct the underground traffic system, so as to evacuate the people flow, the other function is to work as a part of urban public place in order to arouse the vitality of the subway station and put up a sense of place. Through the analyses of the relationship of subway station construction and underground space development, we find that these two aspects benefit each other. Then some research was carried out from the following three aspects: the scheme of the system , the analysis on the spatial shape design and the integration of element in the underground space. Combined with some spot investigation on the subway station in Shanghai and Tianjin, some problem were found and the reasonable advise were given. Finally a forecast of the development of underground space in Tianjin subway station wad made.
