Study Of Solar-Powered Equipments As Architectural Language On Elevation Design Of High-Rise Residence

With the decreasing of traditional energy source, increasing of quality of Life and dwelling environment from public demand, and growing quantity demanded of high-rise residence, the solar energy will be largely from urgently requiring on modern buildings and is an inevitable trend of high-rise ones.Additionally, the integration design of solar-powered equipments and residences in many residential projects is heading for maturity, and technical aesthetic of modern buildings is taken into account, buildings will always follow the common rule of unity in diversity and beauty in form. And the solar-powered equipments are considered to be a new architectural language in order to achieve the harmony with the buildings besides ensure functional realiability.Firstly, the problem of energy all over the world, solar-powered technology and equipments, and the integration design of solar-powered equipments and residences, etc. are analyzed in this paper. Then theories of architectural language are expounded, and the solar-powered equipments as architectural language are introduced into elevation design of high-rise residence. Finally, each phase of elevation design of high-rise residence is disintegrated in detail, the design method of combination between solar-powered equipments and each part are summed thoroughly and practice works are listed. To sum up, looking high-rise residences as research objects, this project studies the method of solar-powered equipments as architectural language of high-rise residence during the process of integration design, in order to improve the integration of architectural theory and technology in the design phases.
