In recent years, along with the development of global economy and the internet, a group of shape-unique and eye-catching landmark buildings have entered the public eyes,causing widespread public comments, most of which are high-rise buildings. Since the1970 s, the high-rise buildings’ modeling showing a diverse style, constantly demonstrating their magics in various places of the world, even after a few years there will be a building its height is over 1,000 meters, it can be predicted that high-rise buildings’ modeling will continue to develop and improve for a long period in the future. In addition, in the architectural design, in order to create outstanding architectural modeling works,on the one hand,it needs exquisite design concepts, on the other hand,it also needs excellent shape-design capability, both of which are indispensable. Based on the case analysis, this paper will analysis modeling language of landmark high-rise buildings and carry out specialized academic summary and discussion in the research of the cities’ landmark high-rise buildings’ design, we are hoping to provide some reference value for future landmark high-rise buildings’ design, so as to do our bit for shaping the cities’ building image better.The first chapter mainly describes research background, related concepts and research scope, purpose and significance of the research, the domestic and foreign literature review,involved relevant theories, research methods, research framework and so on. The second chapter mainly analyzes the objective factors and subjective factors that affect the expression of modeling language. The third chapter to the fifth chapter analyze the semantic expression background, vocabulary, grammar and rhetoric of the high-rise landmark buildings comprehensively, based on a combine with architectural morphology and architectural symbols. The sixth chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of the related cases’ modeling language. The seventh chapter is the summary and thinking of the full text after the analysis.
