| With the economic development of our country, construction of infrastructure flourishes, especially the establishment of large base station of energy . As the primary power supply, fossil fuel power plants develop rapidly. Various of geology conditions may be met during the construction of power plants. According to structural character and site condition of buildings, more suitable methods of foundation treatment are acquired to reduce project cost and to increase economic benefits.This paper analyzes structural character of buildings in power plant, investigates their requirement of ground bearing capacity and deformation, and does research on common methods of foundation treatment. Based on the project of Shijiazhuang west-suburb power plant, field tests are carried and theoretical analysis is made. More reasonable and economical methods of foundation treatment are put forward and design basis for practice engineering is supplied. |
