| Since 1970s, HONDA launched its first ATV, Now, the global ATV marketcapacity has reached 200 billion U.S. dollars. the competition of national andinternational markets has become drastic unprecedented, and user's demand for safety, handling stability and ride comfort is becoming stronger and stronger. The UnitedStates and the European Union to develop a series forATV safety regulations, ForATV's handling and stability, driving safety requirements are very strict, ATVsuspension systern is one of the most pivotal subsystem that affecting vehicle'sdynamic performances. The research has great significance to the design of ATVsuspension system and the study of suspension system on the performance of vehicle. This paper established LONCIN UTV virtual prototyping by ADAMS,processedsimulation analyses and framework optimal analyses, based on which the paperconstructed whole vehicle virtual prototyping dynamic model. After that, the paperdid whole vehicle handling stability experiment analyses, and researched theinfluences of the suspension system parameters to stable steering characteristic.Thepaper provided a modern method to suspension system and whole vehicle system, design and exploitation. The mainly work author did include:(1) Established UTV front suspension virtual prototyping model by ADAMS/Carmodule,and processed kinematics simulation.Analyzed the kinematics characteristicof wheel orientation parameters to wheel jump, then analyzed the suspension'skinematics sensitivity and optimized it's framework by ADAMS/Insight.(2) Based on the optimized front suspension, the author built the whole vehiclevirtual prototyping model,Based on the whole vehicle virtual prototyping model, theauthor processed stable steering experiment simulation analysis.(3) Finded the suspension parameters which affect vehicle steady stable steeringcharacteristic by theory calculation analyses of UTV front suspension roll stiffness, and studied the effect on the stable steering characteristic by the parameters ofsuspension. Finally, we successfully apply the approach studied in this paper to the virtualprototype simulation of UTV. |
