The hydraulic manifold block(HMB) is one of the key parts of integrated hydraulic system. It is widely applied in hydraulic systems and contributed to the integralization and standardization of hydraulic system. According to a research on the current circumstance at home and abroad, the HMB design mainly aims to minimize the process channel quantity as well as the length and volume of flow channel. This is to realize the structural design for the channel arrangement inside flow channel and layout of hydraulic valves outside HMB. But with the development of industrial technology and pressure for energy efficiency, the demand for comprehensive performance of HMB keeps increasing. This article addressed the flowing characteristics of fluid in the typical flow channel of HMB. With the adoption of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in the analysis of HMB flow channel structure parameters'influence on flowing characteristics in pipeline networks of HMB, channel structure of HMB is readjusted so that the optimized HMB conforms to the flowing characteristics. This will serve as theoretical evidence for the integral performance of system.The fluid flow in pipeline networks of HMB is very complicated turbulence and nonsteady flow. First establish HMB pipeline networks flow field mathematical model according to different flowing states in the flow channel. In the meantime, establish three dimensional physical model and use mixed grid division form, which combines structured grid and the non-structured grid, and adopts low Re number k ?εturbulence model to simulate the solving.Secondly analyzing the flowing characteristics (such as pressure, velocity, flow pathline, vortex generation and disappearance, flowing separation, pervasion and re-convergence) inside typical channel of HMB with simulation software FLUENT, the influence rule between typical flow channel structure parameters and regional resistance is obtained. Meanwhile, take hydraulic pressure function return route as the object of study, which is composed by the HMB pipe network, and simulate the fluid flow state inside the pipe network by adopting overall simulation method. The results of simulation analysis will be used for the optimization of HMB internal flow channel structure. So that the HMB structural design and the performance design will be integrated. At last design the HMB test table according to the function principle of HMB in feeding system. The test of HMB's overall performance achieves desirable design results. The overall performance of system is enhanced which proves that the overall simulation analysis has guiding sense for the optimal design of HMB.
