Building energy-saving problems have been paid attention to by more and more people. As a majority of the building energy consumption, air condition's energy consumption is more than 50%. So studying on the problem of air condition energy-saving has an actual significance. When the air condition system is running, it is not in a full load operation status most of time. The goal of this article is to find the optimal status of the system at a certain load, which is the smallest energy consumption status of the system. To achieve the goal of this article, there are two steps, air conditioning system modeling and optimization strategies studying.Air conditioning system modeling is achieved by the MATLAB toolbox Simulink. First of all, it has to model the individual modules of the system, and then we get the model of the total system on the basis of temperature and pressure relationship. This article just considers the air condition system running in a certain load, and then uses these four volumes as variables: evaporator frozen water outlet temperature, condenser cooling water inlet temperature, chilled water flow, cooling water flow, and make system total energy consumption as the target variable. Through adjusting the variables, derive the corresponding system energy consumption and extracting the data. After that, fit the curve using the extracted data to get the functional relationship between the system state and system energy consumption.In foundation of the functional relationship between the system state and system energy consumption, the analysis of optimization strategy can be carried out. Firstly, studies the relationship between four variables and the system energy consumption respectively. Secondly, studies on the variation of the system energy-consumption while the evaporator outlet temperature and condenser inlet temperature changes or the chilled water flow and cooling water flow changes. Finally, the software calculates the optimal running state of the system, which is the lowest point of the state of energy consumption.At the end of the article, the fitting results is been analyzed and explains the correctness of the fitting results in theory. The study of this article provides a good theory for further study of air-conditioning system energy saving running strategy.
