Design And Application Of Pitch System In Windy Power

With the development of world economy and increasing population, Human is facing pressure from power utilization and environment protection. Wind power as a plenty of nature resource, convenient, regenerative, low cost and no pollution is developing quickly in all of world. Especially the development of wind power control technology and servo control. Wind power as a kind of cleaning and regenerative resource is regarding by all of world. People have full theory and ways about design, control, running of wind turbine. Now the MW wind turbine is main product in international wind market. With the development of more bigger and intelligentized wind turbine, it must have more reliability ,coefficient of wind power and better power curve. so the variable pitch technology is coming. Comparing the invariable pitch, the variable pitch has more advantage. For example, its vane is more legerity and adjust the pitch angle with the variable wind. So it has more wind power and can have a constant power output in bigger wind time.Referencing the require of pitch system, This paper introduces the pitch control theory in the base of 3MW wind turbine. With the base of aerodynamics and logical hypothesis, create the mathematics module of pitch system. And analyze and design the pitch system. It uses the BECKHOFF PLC as main controller, PITCHMASTER driver and AC motor as operation structure. Through analyze the servo pitch control theory and design the pitch system with core servo control technology. Then it successfully uses in wind farm and generate wind power. Finally design the main controller simulation and monitor system.
