As an important part of Shanghai 65 meters radio telescope antenna main reflector active adjustment system ,the possible EMI impact and EMC design go through the whole development process with system's performance as well as the reliability designing. Radio telescope antenna main reflector active adjustment system as an integrate and complex system, there are many issues to be considered, such as the initiatives of electromagnetic interference in the system, main electromagnetic interference spread coupling approaches. This paper focused on the EMI initiative causes and suppression methods study based on the project designing practices of Shanghai 65 meters radio telescope antenna main reflector active adjustment system.Starting from the eventual engineering applications of Shanghai 65 meters radio telescope, first we established the electromagnetic compatibility standard for the active adjustment system. Followed by the analysis of the structure of the system and the potential EMIs as well as the electromagnetic transmission paths. To improve the EMC capacity of the system, this paper goes into the screening and filtering theory as well as wiring, grounding techniques. The article introduced the main algorithm of the theoretical EMI prediction and EMC test design method. In the end, the experimental results verified the EMC effectiveness of the initiatives applied in the active adjustment system.
