The manufacture of large aircraft can enhance the overall strength of a country. It can speed industrial upgrading, promote the improvement of science and technology, and form a new economic growth point. The large aircraft is the world's most complex products with highest technical contented, known as"the flower of industry". The manufacturing of large aircraft contains thousands of parts for assembly. The technology of moving assembly line enables high-quality and low-cost manufacturing, and has become one of the means which the aircraft manufacturing enterprises use to improve the core competitiveness.Scheduling is the key problem of production management in manufacturing enterprises. The formulation and implementation of production scheduling programs are of utmost importance in improving the competitiveness of enterprises. They can shorten the production cycle, reduce in-process inventory and then reduce the production costs. Aircraft moving assembly line job scheduling problem is a scheduling theory which is used in the special environment of the aircraft manufacturing industry. To solve the special problem, we need to consider the production characteristics and analysis the specific constraints. And then formulate a quickly scheduling program to provide guidance for the manufacturing through the establishment of reasonable scheduling model for aircraft assembly process.To shorten the aircraft assembly time, in this paper, an integer programming model with the objective of minimizing the makespan is established based on the analysis of the multiple constraints in the aircraft moving assembly line. To solve the job scheduling problem, a composite priority rule - WRST and a WRST based heuristic algorithm are presented. The numerical experiments show that the result of the algorithm is excellent, and can be effectively used in aircraft assembly and other large-scale problem.Flexibility is the ability of economic and quick response to the change of new circumstances. Flexible resources are the resources with the ability to adapt different environments, and can dynamic allocation of one or a number of renewable resources. In order to meet the requirements of flexible manufacturing, we use the flexibility to maximize the efficient use of resources. On the basis of the research of the above problems, we consider the resource flexibility to study the aircraft assembly job scheduling problem, and establish an integer programming model. The flexibility of resources increases the complexity of the problem-solving. We design a kind of heuristic algorithm with random selection mechanism to solve the problem. The results of the numerical experiments approved that the resource flexibility can shorten the aircraft assembly time and increase the efficiency of resource.
