Service Based Weapon System-of-Systems Architectural Modeling And Analysis

The architecture of Weapon System of System (WSoS) includes the systems of a WSoS, the interrelationship among the systems and the principles and instructions which guide the design and evolution of the WSoS. The design of the WSoS architecture is very important to construct a WSoS, which serves as the basis for WSoS construction and technology development by providing the framework of the WSoS architecture and constraints for generating feasible system combination scheme.To solve the problems in WSoS analysis, the principle of service-oriented WSoS architecture, as well as characteristics such as loose coupling,heterogeneous, dynamic evolution and reusability, are adapted. Constructing Service View makes WSoS architecture more logical and provides support for WSoS architecture optimization. Main contents in this dissertation states as follows:(1)After analyzing the problem existing in the design of WSOS architecture based on the Operation View, Capability View and System View,A theory of Service-Based to design and develop the WSOS architecture are proposed. In order to solve the problem of strict coupling and heterogeneous in the past WSOS Architecture, the concept of Service View is involved into the Multi-View framework.(2) After describing the WSOS architecture view products, the interrelationship of View products and the order of view products design, We stress the interrelationship of the view products and the design flow between view products; Based on the present theory of Service Views in the world and the characters of the WSOS Architecture, we represent the Service Views in detail and give the format of the description of the Service Views products.(3) Methodology and steps for system combination scheme generation based on Service View is given using the hierarchy of"capability-service-system".(4) A precise strike WSoS is applied as a case study, in which the Service Views for the precise strike WSoS are constructed and theoretical framework and method proposed for generating feasible system combination scheme are validated.
