The Study And Its Application On High Speed Connector Signal Interity Test Fixure

Signal integrity is one important qualification point on high speed connectors.This article continues the research of high speed connector test fixture basing onsignal transmission theory and USB3connector cross talk test complaint case.It builds distributed circuit R,L,G,G model and discloses impedance criticalparameters in connector structure design and the manufacturing process. Meanwhile,it gives a signal integrity theory introduction on signal reflection and crosstalk. Anddisclose part of critical parameters on high speed connector crosstalk control.6sigma DMAIC model and tool options on each phase are detailed introducedand applied on USB3connector customer complaint case in the last chapter. It findsout the root cause on connector crosstalk test failure under of help of DOE andANOVA. It also discloses high density print circuit board in micro via technology onconnector signal integrity test fixture for signal crosstalk optimization. One newconnector structure design for better signal crosstalk has been global patentsauthorized.
