The Research On Data And Command Handling System Of Deep Space Explorer

The activities of deep space exploring become more and more nowadays accompanied by the progress of spatial technology. The Data and Command Handling System help the spacecraft communicate with the ground station, transfer data within spacecraft, execute the task autonomously and protect the spacecraft from error or troubles. So to speak, the Data and Command Handling system is indispensable ingredient.First of all, according to the experience of deep space task in the past, this paper generalizes the characters and features of Data and Command Handling System. Then the main functions of the system are summarized by analyzing the flight task succeeded. Based on the trends now, this paper studies the CCSDS standards including Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services and Space Packet Protocol.Secondly, based on the work before, the scheme design of the Data and Command Handling System is done. Some are focus on the module reusing and autonomous functions. Module reusing depends on the application of CCSDS standard, and the autonomous functions rely on the work done by others.At the end, the Data and Command Handling System are coded with C++ programming language, and also define the interfaces among of modules. The software developed modules a set of data generating engine, by which stimulation could be done. In order to demonstrate the functions and GUI of the software, some tasks are designed and simulated, and run on the software successfully.
