With the fast development of sensor technology, data transfer technology, software & hardware, signal analysis technology, people has already used these into real time monitor of bridges. We can already use modern sensor and communication technology to analyses the variation of structure under different loads and in different environments, so we can determine the position and degree of bridge's damage, even to the damage report. This can be a reliable basis for bridge strengthening, and also can be a valuable issue. This paper is based on Chao Bai Concrete-filled Steel Tube Arch Bridge. We built a finite element model, concluded based on dynamic load and static load, summarize a series of long term technique flow with strong operability, and improved early warning and variation tech by accumulate measured data. These work can ensure the bridge's safe running, and provide a good basis for other bridges'long term monitor. This paper contains:1St, summary of home and aboard study situation in long term monitor of large bridges.2nd, summary of Chao Bai Bridge's monitor system, outward appearance detection result, and a bridge unit recognition system.3rd, finite element model of the bridge, analysis of effect under dynamic load and static load, results of static load test on key point and contrast with finite element model analysis, conclusion of the test.4th, goal and content of the test, analysis of the test, analysis of Chao Bai bridge on dynamic characteristics and dynamic deflectionLast, brief introduction of Bridge Health Star software system, logical structure of long term monitor system, and brief explanation of the system's main function.
