The Research Of Telemetry And Remote Control System Based On Powerline Carrier Communications

PLC is short for Power Line Communication which is a way of communication using power lines to transfer data and voice signals. It builds on the electrical distribution network, complete the communication between nodes in PLC network and other communication network. PLC with no re-wiring and lower cost has important application value.This multi-objective remote sensing and control of the power line carrier communication system is mainly managed by the main central station, power line carrier communication transmission unit and a data collection terminal. The project focuses on the power line carrier communication technology which is based on the communication channel and analyze the low-voltage power line channel characteristics, such as line noise characteristics, channel noise and channel attenuation and so on. In-depth study of spread spectrum communications and OFDM modulation and demodulation techniques, then based on power Remote meter reading system, this article propose a program for low voltage power line carrier communication. Using the special chip PL3106 as the core for the design of power amplifier circuit, receiving transmission circuit, filter coupled circuit and other circuits. After hardware design, the paper designs carrier communication software and communication protocol and give an improved method for error handling. The improved method combines FEC and Automatic Repeat Request Retransmission to solve the power line channel burst interference and improve the reliability and validity of information transmission. In addition, simulate channel coding intertwined code by System View simulation software. The main station management system achieves maintenance and management, data receiving and storage, system alarms, equipment control and other functions, then finally completed the system based on power line carrier communication.
