Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery is widely applied to the systems of electrical supply and communication power supply. It is most important to work safely and reliably. But the structure of battery is particular and the number of battery is very large. It is easily destroyed while not be noticed, so it is urgent for the people to make an detecting equipment that can figure out the battery quality online in case of waste and accident. All kinds of the detecting equipments is widely used in the market. While the different testing methods to the battery are good or bad. It is unable completely identical, reflecting the different results. Years of study and use that internal resistance detection is the most reliable . This article has deeply analyzed the features and the testing ways of Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery, The main contents of studies includes:(1)The introduction of the current situation and developing trend for Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery;(2)The research of the principle for Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery and the study of technique parameter and relation for internal resistance;(3)The detailed analysis of on-line detection principle about Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery's intemal resistance by using lock-in amplification technology;(4)Have accomplished the hardware design, including the measuring circuit of fore-end internal resistance , the system of the Single-Chip Microcomputer controling and showing;(5)Have completed the software design, including the upper and under machine software;(6)Have maked a model machine successly, the testing results was good.
