Tianjin avenue is city expressway, the key road in our city. Considering the advanced city management experiences, it is necessary to build intelligent transportation system. At the mean time, as one part of city expressway, the intelligent transportation of Tianjin Avenue will be included in intelligent transportation management system of the whole city to form an all-around, modern intelligent transportation management system. Intelligent transportation system will promote the traffic and order management by finding traffic violation, traffic jam, etc. immediately and send police to settle down. In this way, various traffic violation behaviors can be fought against. Cable communication technology is of great importance to Tianjin Avenue intelligent transportation system for information exchange by making different sub-systems inter-connected and inter-controlled. However, cable communication technology has some limitations on application. First, less bandwidth, real time traffic information from strange land or multi-road display is impossible. Second, transmission mode and storage mode also restrict the application of the whole intelligent transportation. To solve the two problems, network structure should be readjusted; network bandwidth and storage mode should be improved; self-Healing network base on SDH should be established. And the three plans should be implemented at the same time. This thesis will make in depth research on two of the three plans, which refer to self-Healing network base on SDH and storage mode of SAN. Intelligent transportation system of Tianjin Avenue is the most important one. Without communication technology, none of the other functions can be realized. The technology applied on Tianjin Avenue intelligent transportation system is not top, but mature. Also, these technologies have some shortcomings. With the appearance of new technologies, they will be improved. |
