The Research Of Urban Design Strategy Based On Everyday Life

Nowadays, China is on the fastigium of urbanization at present. With the proliferation of seeking quick success and one-sided reliance on technique rationality, urban development and construction overemphasize high-efficient production, as also the new and glaring effects. As a result, it neglect city's life essence and people's use and experience, distance the space from people, and weaken the urban vitality. At the same time, for the lacking of integral control and coordinated management to the urban construction, urban space exists a series of problems in the process of high-speed and disorderly expansion, such as the break of the intrinsic urban structure, the intensify of function space dispersing, the shortage of urban public space, the loss of the regional characteristics, and lacking of the human space. Therefore, go over the objectives and methods of urban design, starting point of common people's everyday life will provide a new research idea about creating the"people-first"urban public space, and promote the sustainable urban development.In view of this, this paper with the attention to the"everyday life"as the starting point, attempting to construct an urban design strategy of urban daily life, and as the supplement to the existing urban design system. It takes the everyday life and everyday living space of Chongqing city as the object of study. On the one hand, seek the internal logic and external agent of everyday living space form the historical progress, as the the"bottom-up"construction logic of space; on the other hand, make the research analysis of the current everyday living space in Chongqing city, and clear the main existing problems. On the basis of synthesizing the correlation theory, practical experience and existing problems, this paper draws up the principles and methods of urban design, and gives some suggestion on the control mechanism and the design strategy from macro, middle, and micro view: optimize the urban spatial structure, complete the living space system, and create more living spaces. It will make the living environment and living space match the diversified requirements of everyday life, and promote the benign development of city.The thesis is divided into 6 chapters:ChapterⅠ: Introduction. This part introduces the research origin, purpose and significance, main related object and its concept, the research status at home and abroad, research contents and methods as well as the basic framework.ChapterⅡ: Summarize the correlation theory about everyday life. On one hand, this part elaborates the relevant theory and research of"everyday life"and everyday living space, within a multi-dimensional thinking from the angles of different subjects, make clear its connotation, denotation, value and influencing factors; on the other hand, it compares the different urban design practice of the world about everyday living space, and find some strategies and methods which can use as a source of reference.ChapterⅢ: Analysis about the everyday life mode and spatial characteristic of Chongqing city. Taking Chongqing as an example, this part investigate and analyze of the characterization of everyday life and everyday living space in different historical stages, explore the internal logic, external cause, development trend and the existing problems of the everyday living space.Chapter IV: Discuss the method and control mechanism of the urban design based on everyday life. Combining the study of theory and the summary of experience, and aiming at the current situation of the development of Chongqing city everyday living space, this part put forward the value orientations and goals, principles and methods of the urban design, and put emphasis on the research of operational mode and application of the control mechanism: three dimensions space control, dynamic coordination control and property of participation control, to discuss the maneuverability and public participation of the urban designs.Chapter V: Discuss the strategies of the urban design that based on the everyday life. Aiming at the current situation that raised in the chapterⅢ, this part study on the design strategies of the everyday living space from macro, middle, and micro view: optimize the urban spatial structure, complete the living space system, and create more living spaces.Chapter VI: Conclusion. This part will get a general conclusion about the principles, methods, control mechanisms and design strategies of the urban design that based on the everyday life.
