With prosperous development and wide application of electro-mechanical transmission control technologies, the society is in great need of students with a good grasp of this field, which drives our country to emphasize on such students'cultivation. As a course with strong fulfillment, experiment teaching is of great importance to it. As a result, advanced and suitable experiment equipments for course teaching are essential.A set of PC & PLC-based, open and practical HJD-DJ electro-mechanical transmission control system for experiment teaching was put forwards, based on the analysis of the electro-mechanical courses'teaching status as well as the requirements on the experiment equipments.First of all, according to the basic principles and the functional requirements of the system, this paper brought forwards the total structure and basic parameters of the system, the total scheme of the mechanical body and the control system. Appropriate hardware and software development platforms were selected as well.Secondly, began with the mechanical body, the working principle and mechanical structure of the load & test platform, the gliding track system, the belt transmission system were designed based on the analysis of the total scheme of the mechanical body. Critical mechanical parts were designed in detail as well. Then, according to open principle and the requirements of the system, the control system was designed together with the components selection and layout design work, based on which the hardware circuits such as data acquisition circuit were designed. The test & control software of the system was designed with friendly interface and 6 specific functions such as human computer interaction, serial communication, motion control, data processing, curve fitting and results saving. PLC program which cooperated with the test & control software was designed in detail as well.Finally, a typical experiment"test for motor's mechanical characteristics"was taken as an example to show the functions of the system. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the experimental results was made as well.After repeated modification and experimental verification, this electro-mechanical transmission control system could complete the specific experiments. With abundant functions and practical applications, the system met the requirements of the subject.
