More and more gas appliances are widely used with the rapid development of city gas industry. And the development of high efficiency and energy saving gas appliance under the"energy conservation and emission reduction"policy background has great significance. Gas injector cooking appliance with air-blasting is one of these products with high combustion efficiency, but if you want to improve the combustion efficiency you must first improve the burner port thermal intensity, and improve the burner port thermal intensity you must make sure you have enough the secondary air, but traditional form of burner port causes difficulties for secondary air supplying. To solve this problem, we designed a special"cross-shaped"burner port and did flame stability simulation research for this special form of the burner port.The paper firstly introduces the research background meaning and status of the subject, and then makes sure how and what to do for this subject; secondly, the paper expounds theories about gas combustion, flame stability, enhanced combustion and so on and derives characteristic equations of gas injector cooking appliance with air-blasting which provides a theoretical support for this kind of gas appliance; thirdly, the paper introduces the CFD technology and the solvers and models of the Fluent software, then discusses the application condition of these solvers and models; at last, establishes entity model by using Gambit, sets the operating conditions and boundary conditions, simulates the flame stability of gas injector cooking appliance with air-blasting while changing the size of the burner port.By analyzing the theories and simulation results of gas injector cooking appliance with air-blasting, we derive the characteristic equations of gas injector cooking appliance with air-blasting and find how the three factors (main burner port side partial area s1, stabilized flame port export section area s2, entrance velocity of mixture v) influence the flame stability. Then the paper gives a relative optimum size of the flame stability port through the simulation results, and the method how to find the optimal size of the flame stability port, this provides valuable reference for gas injector cooking appliance with air-blasting optimization designing.
