Connect shell and pump using three-points welding in the air-conditioning compressor. Welding parts (flange in the CN series, cylinder in the CM series) deformation of pump after welding reduce the accuracy of the compressor assembly, lead to the performance and reliability of compressor is decline, compressor off the assembly line to scrapped in serious situation, cause huge economic losses. In the article, Numerical simulation analysis of the three-points welding for CN and CM series air-conditioning compressor by large commercial finite element software ANSYS and experimental verification of this simulation. On this based optimization of welding parts structure for CN series pump.The actual product due to the shell and pump is sealed, therefore, the results of numerical simulation of three-points welding is difficult to experiment validation. In the article, numerical simulation of the three-points welding for shell and welding parts of pump in first, and verified them by experiments, Use measurement of temperature by thermocouple and welding deformation for the key points of welding parts of pump method to verify the results of the simulation of three-points welding for shell and welding parts of pump. When the effective input power is 4000W, the effective heating radius is 0.009m, results of the simulation and experimental is consistent.On the basis of simulation and experimental works, Numerical simulation of a continuous (one-welding)and secondary (two-welding) three-points welding for CN series shell and pump, results show that one-welding deformation is smaller, And found on the bottom deformation of flange affected not only by three-points welding, but affected by screw preload is great. numerical simulation of three-points welding for CM series compressor in the one-welding process, found inner circle roundness of cylinder and vane groove deformation are significantly reduced.Numerical simulation of three-points welding for CN series different structures of flange, found non-pierced of the solder joint structure is the optimal structure, into the production of this structure, compressor off the assembly line to scrap rate reduction from the original 1.1% to 0.5%.
