In modern shipbuilding industry,6 mm and under welding sheet is widely used in ship superstructures and some ro-ro car decks. Welding deformation of thin pad structure is a big problem that needs to be solve.Welding deformation is usually caused by the combined action of many factors, but also involves the arc physics, heat transfer, metallurgy, mechanics and so on many disciplines,complicated and difficult to predict. With the rapid development of the shipbuilding industry in our country in recent years, rely on accumulated experience to control welding residual deformation in the traditional method has far cannot satisfy the practical production requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to deeply study the principle of welding deformation, welding production practice guidance in theory.On welding deformation prediction and calculation of began in the thirties of the last century, however, until the computer technology is popularized and used large-scale finite elementsoftware to develop, computing method is used to simulate the complex welding process is possible. In manufacturing, using computer simulation technology can make the material utilization ratio increased by 25%, 30% production cost savings,from product design to the actual production time shorten 40%[1], as a result, a computer simulation method for the scientific development of welding technology has created a powerful conditions.Welding thermal process is a local instantaneous heating and natural cooling process. In the welding process, the temperature quickly and the organization of the dramatic changes not only affect the weld metal, and the mechanical properties of the joint and welding deformation also has very big effect. Therefore study the change of the welding temperature field, welding deformation has an important significance for theoretical guidance.In this thesis, in the process of study, using the large general finite element software ANSYS in thermodynamic module,based on the ceramic liner CO2 gas shielded welding process test examples, such as two pieces of size 6(mm) ceramic liner single docking flat steel welding process as compared to the research object, the welding temperature field of 3-d numericalsimulation. In the numerical simulation using parametric programming language(APDL) moving heat source along the weld welding the weld from the first(second starting position);Unit "dead" technology is used to examine the multi-channel molten pool of metal in welding process.Based on the single side welding welding temperature field of 3 d dynamic simulation, the establishment of a reliable research method, for further and improve the welding process of stress field simulation research laid the foundation of theory, promote the promotion and application of finite element analysis of welding technology.
