With industrial development and the improvement of living standards, solar energy as a new clean energy, energy market in China gradually took a more important position. Preparation of solar cells is becoming a very big industry, in which the detection of defects in solar cell technology has been widely used in the industry. Defect detection in solar cells, the most important thing is to select the imaging camera.The main purpose of this paper is to introduce solar energy technical knowledge related to defect detection, and describes the knowledge of their digital camera defect detection in the use of solar cells, and make a digital camera and analyzed with performance parameters. Then analyzes the domestic and international developments in the progress of digital cameras, combined with color image processing, sensor noise and other related knowledge, and use the Matlab development environment, from graphical interface to the back algorithm to achieve the performance evaluation of the camera, one of the major project to restore the degree of the test color, select a single color region of interest and the noise analysis, and histogram analysis and histogram equalization, and noise can be added manually, including the Gaussian noise, salt and pepper noise and Poisson noise, Finally, the noise can make simple pre-treatment, such as median filtering and Gaussian filtering. Then use the software and build evaluation test platform, including source selection, the choice of test board, and ultimately get the desired results.
