Large single movable radio telescope is a very important device in space target detection. It is playing a very important role in astronomical observation and space flight monitoring. With the expansion of the telescope diameter, and its structure will appear to a certain degree of deformation, impact on the accuracy of the main reflector surface. In order to minimize the situation, the main reflector active surface system is introduced. It is a real-time system to adjust the installation position and attitude of the main reflector panel. The efficiency of the antenna could be maximized by such means.Active surface system which owns high precision, high reliability, remote monitoring ss a set of mechatronic systems,. This poses a challenge for system design. This paper focused on the development of the control software of the active surface system. Firstly, communication network system was designed according to the system installation layout and the requirement of the system. The designing and the part selection of the actuator was also discussed. Then according to the hardware features and layout, with the help of the theory and method of the software engineering, the user needs of the software and the functional requirement is analyzed. Then the overall architecture of the control software is designed. What's more, the appropriate development environment is selected and the software development process was planned. Behind, respectively, several modules of the software is detail designed. Including network communication module, the user interface module, the data read and write module. The Winsock network development, multi thread program, OpenGL, Prof-UIS, etc, was applied. With the help of such technology, the software with friendly user interface and meets all the needs of requirement was developed successfully. Finally, The strengths and weaknesses of the software is analyzed, and future directions for improvement is planned.The main work of this paper is the application of software engineering theory and new technology, designing active surface system control software.T here is a certain practical value.
