Bridge structure is a national critical infrastructure, it plays an important role in the national economy. With the development of its construction to the large, light and functional complexity, people pay more and more attention to safety, durability, and normal function of the Large-scale structure bridge. With the development of sensor technology , communications technology and signal processing technology and other related disciplines, Bridge health monitoring, structural damage and health assessment studies in the large areas of bridge engineering become hot spot on the way to the study of the current bridge engineering field. However, the current study is still in the theoretical and experimental research stage, and no uniform standard to follow. In this paper, with gold steel bridge , the West River bridge health monitoring system engineering for the project background , based on practical engineering , a series of technical issues of the bridge health monitoring and safety assessment have been studied. Main job includes:⑴Overall design method research of bridge health monitoring system With the study of bridge health monitoring system's design basis, guiding ideology, construction procedure, through the needs analysis, determine the system's main function, to meet the needs of the bridge management, in order to achieve the Tianjin Bridge management of electronic, standardized and scientific, make the bridge management to grasp of the operational status of bridge timely and accurately, saving manpower and other unnecessary waste of resources. Through study of health monitoring system for monitoring project determined principles and content, suggests a beam bridge, arch bridge , cable-stayed bridge and suspension bridge monitoring project. ⑵Research of sensor system design Study to determine the classification of the sensor , the principle of selection and the laid requirements, suggests a beam bridge , arch bridge , cable-stayed and suspension bridge sensor laid requirements.⑶Study of data acquisition and processing analysis Study the overall process design and methods of data acquisition and data processing and analysis.⑷Bridge health monitoring system software development.For the health monitoring and management of Tianjin Bridge Group 's operations period, developed a health monitoring system software of distributed bridge, studied a bridge safety assessment methods and setting methods of the warning value and are applied to the gold steel bridge and the West River Bridge Health Monitoring System project.
