| This thesis emphasizes on the views and the research method of Phenomenology in observation process of city. The author makes use of the"society-space"principle for investigating into the relationship between human activities and urban living places, also for the research of the interaction between the establishments of urban spaces and people's experiencing of them, so as to unfold the value and significance of the relationship and the interaction.The thesis attempts to base the observation on the basic and essential issues of Architecture which is people's daily lives, and to restore the relationship between people and places by using the method of Phenomenology. The discussion of places will be placed in people's living space. The thesis aims to experience the environment and explore the spirit of place from the viewpoint of an observer.Firstly, the thesis interprets the origin and development of Phenomenology, and describes the theoretical background of the"social-space"observation method. And then the thesis analyse the value and significance of the view of daily life by the induction of related works.The second part, in the course of the research, the author realises that people's consciousness and demand for urban places is changing with the times. So from the view point of daily life the thesis analyse how the rapid development of information technology bought about great changes in people's lives, and also the people's sense.The thesis also focuses on the analysis of the theory and works of Sou Fujimoto who is a young Japanese architect. From his theory and works, we can see the new space cognitive of the young architect who grew up along with the rapid development of information technology, and know his understanding and interpretation of"Genius Loci". |
