Energy conservation and emission reduction have been one of the hot topics it was concerned about in the world. In the combustion, it need to seek a cleaner and lower prices and high combustion efficiency alternatived fuels, such not only can save money, but also can solve environmental pollution and reduce pressure the energy crisis created. It adopt dimethyl ether to alternative liquefied gas gradually in most current ceramic kiln plant, and replaced market is becoming larger and larger. From dimethyl ether combustion mechanism analysis the main reason is dimethyl ether itself with oxygen, good combustion performance, high thermal efficiency, combustion process without residual and black smoke, low carbon monoxide and nitric oxide displaced. It is a kind of clean fuels.Because of physical characteristics of dimethyl ether is difference of liquid gas. Combustion conditions and characteristics of dimethyl ether were studied deeply, and this helps us to understand the combustion mechanism of dimethyl ether, to optimize injection system and combustion system of fuel burner dimethyl ether burned, it has direct influence meaning. Aiming at the dimethyl ether itself with oxygen, this paper simulate that how much less oxygen quantity Dimethyl ether combustion required than liquefied petroleum gas in the same fuel quantity, and obtain optimum normoxia of dimethyl ether desired. On this basis, we adopt cross jet to increase disturbing degree of fuel and air, make them more uniform mixing and increase the combustion efficiency. It researches combustion temperature of the whole furnace at different cross jet angles and improves the nozzle. But combustion temperature of dimethyl ether is less than liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), because of low calorific value of dimethyl ether is lower than natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and other gas, so its theoretical combustion temperature is lower. We adopt dimethyl ether adding methanol and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuel to improve dimethyl ether combustion temperature. This paper simulated dimethyl ether, liquefied gas combustion with different oxygen level, dimethyl ether combustion under different cross jet angles and dimethyl ether combustion adding different proportion of methanol or liquefied gas by using FLUENT software. Firstly it obtains the geometric structure after physical structure researched, then and simplifise the structure reasonably, finally establishes geometric model using Gambit and divides 3d ceramic kiln by structured and unstructured grids. According to characteristics of gas combustion in the ceramic kiln, it chooses k-εturbulence model, the pre-mixed combustion model, P-1 radiation model and mass, momentum and energy equations to construct the mathematical model of ceramics kiln. After the substantial computation, optimum normoxia dimethyl ether combustion desired is around 30% and optimum normoxia liquefied gas desired is around 50%. On the basis of dimethyl ether with best normoxia combustion, it researches dimethyl ether combustion temperature at different cross jet angles, and concluds that the highest combustion temperature and uniform temperature field distribution is around 60°. It researches dimethyl ether combustion temperature adding different proportion of methanol, liquefied gas and shows that dimethyl ether combustion adding methanol is discomfort, but dimethyl ether combustion adding liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is comfort, the greater the amount of liquid gas added and the higher combustion temperature, and how much fuels need to consider the combustion temperature of burning products and fuel prices comprehensively.
