The topic is about the calibration tool, which as calibration technology for Electronic-controlled Engine were studied and researched in this paper. First of all, I deeply analyzed the two paragraphs common mature calibration software, witch called INCA and CANape. Then, combining the actual demand, the authors developed a new calibration software based on Lab VIEW.The author's technical route summarized as follows. The CAN bus used for master-slave way of serial communication; The CAN Calibration protocol, witch is the most mature calibration protocol at present for Electronic-controlled Engine, used for calibration communication; The calibration software also followed ASAM-MCD international standards. In the paper, the authors briefly explained the standards and protocols, such as CAN bus, ASAM standards, and CCP protocol especially, such as communication structure, data objects, the work manner. And the ccp structure example is also given in the paper.The Calibration software is designed for Electronic-controlled Engine. Design principle includes:modular function subdivision, module can be reused, function can be expanded, etc. The software overall design, witch followed the theories of system engineering, is divided into five aspects.The authors designed the calibration software's each key module in detail. These critical modules including CCP agreement driver module, CAN drive module, A2L editor module, document processing module, and the MAP figure processing module, etc. The authors not only giveed the design idea and principle, but also gived the design process of important process, as well as design completed some module interface.At last part, NI-PXI is used as host platform and Infineon TriCore 1796 SCM is used as slave ECU for calibration test. The test results show that the calibration system has a performance of rapid response, reliable calibration and data acquisition (DAQ), and can satisfy the calibration demand of electronically controlled engines. The calibration software all module function are basically reaching development requirement, and can satisfy the calibration needs.
