In recent years,with the world big oil companies turned their focus toward deep sea areas,as one of the important offshore equipment, the deep-water pipelay crane vessel got fast development and application. But China still do not have independent research and development ability,compared with foreign countries,there is still a gap. The dissertation studys on a deep-water pipelay crane vessel which concept design from abroad,detail design and construction from domestic, intended to work suitable for 3000-meter depth environment,on its several key techniques for research, which can be independent research and development for our deep water pipelay crane vessel used for reference.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. The imminency of our country's deepwater resource exploitaion,researching deep-water pipelay crane vessel development process,investigation of the shipbuilding development situation and the ways of pipelay are also introduced.2. The basic information of the pipelay crane vessel is described,5 key outfits of the deep-water pipelay crane vessel are investigated and analyzed.3. A brief introduction of IMO,CCS,ABS for requirements of stability,a pipelay crane vessel model is created by NAPA software,and then, intact stability in 9 loading conditions are analyzed in NAPA software.4. The basic principle of anti-rolling tank is studied,according to the principle and general arrangement of the pipelay crane vessel,a passively controlled anti-rolling tank is designed for the vessel.In addition,the position of the tank in the vessel is analyzed.5. the principle and components of dynamic positioning system are studied, A dynamic analysis program for dynamic positioning system is developed by MATLAB,at last,the vessel dynamic positioning capability is evaluated.
