Firstly,the force imposed on the superstructure of piled wharf and the interaction between the earth and wharf on the fork pile are summarized.And in combination with the load change obtained on the spot,the external loads that affect the fork pile are achieved,namely front dredging,slope siltation,horizontal force(impact force or the mooring force) and vertical load.Secondly,the bent distribution coefficient of the horizontal force is analysed.Many factors affect the bent distribution coefficient of the high-piled wharf.Through the research of the physical and FE model, the relationship among the vertical load of the terminal panel bent stiffness and the bent distribution coefficient are accomplished.And then the effect for the point of the impact force on the bent distribution coefficient and the most unfavorable bent distribution coefficient FE Model is established.The actual cause for the breakage can not be figured out based on the current specifications on hand.So theoretically,based on the discussion on the soil and contact constitutive model and algorithm,the FEM model on the interaction between the high piled wharf and earth is set up to computate fork pile under different loads.The analysis explains that the mechanism for the fork pile breakage is that the cap has born comparatively large moment which lead to destruction due to a large eccentric impact.Under the method of orthogonal and sensitivity analysis on the normal section load,it is concluded that the main external force are the ship impact force and the mooring force and the most unfavorable condition.Theoretical calculations of reinforced concrete and FEM konwledge explain that Discrete finite element model of reinforced concrete may well reveal the micro-mechanism for the relationship between the steel and concrete and dispersion-type crack model can more accurately predict regional cracks and effectively estimate the corresponding load.As a result,based on the methods above,the most unfavorable internal force for the wharf is computated and fork breakage characteristics (breakage due to large eccentric load) is confirmed.Above all the breaking rules for the vertical pile,batter pile facing the shore and the sea are obtained. The repair and reinforcement of the fork pile is a concerned issue in engineering.According to the breakage mechanism, two method are proposed in the paper,namely the increasement of the cap and partial outsourcing method.And effects of these two methods are numerically analysed.The cap increasement method can only repair the fork pile rather than reinforcement,for the bending moment of pile top will get down to the new cap as the original one has been enlarged, and the original max moment cannot get improved;the partial outsourcing method can reinforce the pile to a certain extent,the optimal reinforcement size is achieved after simulation,namely the width and the length.
