Today similarity theory in the power system of physical simulation has been used widely, especially for the establishment and application of dynamic model. Researching method of physical simulation system of ship power station is mainly building general dynamic model of ship power system, this method can save the cost, and ensure the model extensive application of, so it is great value. Based on the similarity theory(studying similar conditions and similar phenomena), this paper makes a deep research in physical simulation system for ship power station and provides a method of simulated dynamic characteristics of direct-current speed control system with dynamic characteristics of marine diesel engine.Because the root mean square of the synchronization generator voltage results in field current, the frequency changing is caused by the engine speed changing, for researching the engine speed characteristics, we can obtains the rules of synchronous generator's voltage and frequency. And so we can use double closed loop speed regulation system to simulate the diesel engine speed regulation system, so as to achieve for direct current analog of diesel engine with purpose. By changing the parameters of the double closed loop speed regulation systems to make double closed loop speed regulation system and diesel engine speed regulation system have the similar open-loop frequency characteristics, thus the mathematic model of physical simulation system for ship power station has been established. Not only the dynamic stability of single set of direct current motor-synchronous generator sets meets requirements, but also the dynamic stability of parallel sets achieves a better standard. This work provides a good foundation for researching the dynamic performance of ship power system.Through the computer simulation experiment, physical simulation of electrical shipping system transition process analysis shows that, although simulation system can't completely reappear the dynamic characteristic of diesel engine, but can approximate reflect some of the dynamic characteristics of diesel, system dynamic index basically meet the requirements, verified the proposed design method is reasonable and feasible, which research for direct-current motor to simulate the ship diesel engine power is good.
