With the rapid development of Shipbuilding industry, it is the common goals to improve thematching rate of electromechanical equipment in the industry. However, the core technology ofthe control system has been monopolized by the developed countries, it is greatly restricted theprocess of Chinese shipbuilding industry which change the mode of production from thetraditional manufacturing industry to the high intelligence, high value-added creative industry.How to break this situation, ship power plant control system, as the power source of the shipelectrical equipment,can be used as a breakthrough. In order to develop a control system withindependent intellectual property rights applied to the ship power station, the primary task is tobuild a ship power station physical simulation system for the research on the ship power station.It is an important significance to the research of ship power station simulator and the design ofship power station control system.After studied the electrical shipping simulation system, this paper researches the controlsystem of physical simulation platform applied to the ship power station. And then develop thePC monitoring system. Combined these two parts, it partscomplete the ship power plantautomation system.First, it describes the purpose of the research on the ship physical simulation system. In thischapter, it elaborated the great significance of the power station’s control systems and the marinesimulator. And then, it put forward a method to build the physical simulation system.Then, the physical simulation system is introduced. The physical simulation platform whichhas physical characteristics is built. It is proceed to build the system from the overall frameworkstructure and the three levels which include the management layer, control layer and device layer.It provides an excellent experimental platform to the control system.And then the control system of physical simulation system is introduced. In the system, thefirst control station is PLC control system; the second control station is simulation generatorcontrol system. The control system of ship power station can achieve the control functions byadjusting the operational status of the DC speed control device which in the simulation generatorcontrol layer.At the end, it describes the PC monitoring system of the physical simulation system. Itamply introduces the development process of the system’s interface designs including the mainswitchboard view, simulation generator view, grid view and report printing view. And loaded aphysical load to verify the control system can be a safe and stable operation in a certain range.
