With the state policy and the development of the public's energy conservation and environmental protection awareness, the solar water heater which is energy conservation, environmental protection, economical is becoming more and more popular. Recently, the solar water heater is developing to the solar water heating system oriented to clustered application, which can reduce the investment every heat.The paper introduces the structure and feature of the solar water heating system oriented to clustered application, analyses the function requirement of the controller and finishes its software and hardware design. Proposed the devices and installation configurable design, meets the different installation projects and makes the controller compatible to several kinds of installation projects. Proposed the changeable volume technology, makes the volume of water tank can be adjusted and set by the water consumption and the solar heat production in different time, to improve the energy utilization efficiency. The local monitor module makes technologist maintain, debug or monitor easy. The wireless module and some other communication interfaces supply the technical support to the solar water heating system oriented to clustered application and info-managing.In November 2010, the solar water heating experiment system was established on the lab roof, and the controller has been worked normally five months. In February 2011, the controller was applied in the solar water heating system informationization reform of ShenZhen polytechinc, and runs well all the time. According to the statistical data, its energy consumption is at least 14.6% less than before. It gets the high praise from the copartner for its good operation and management.
