Because the mine power system occupies in the entire electrical power system the proportion is getting bigger and bigger,guaranteed that the mine power system security, moved reliably becomes a big important matter for electrical power system. A lot of misalignment loads are used in the mine, which cause the harmonic and the reactive power large injection mine power system, has posed certain threat to the mine power system. In order to decrease the reactive power influence to the mine power system, a set of dynamic reactive power compensating system is studied.The machinery switchs capacitor (MSC) is one of the numerous reactive power compensation ways. This article selects the high vacuum contact device to switch the parallel capacities. It uses a series of superiority of the high vacuum contact device,as long life, frequent operation, small volume, light weight, inexplosive, unpollution of the environment, lower price , good break the performance and so on to break the traditional pattern that the thyristor cut the parallel capacitor,and it is accepted gradually by the user community. DSP is selected to be the core controller of the whole system, its highly effective operating control ability and perfect combination of the high vacuum contact, caused the overall system to have the advantage of simple control, reliable performance , powerful function, easy and inexpensive and so on. This article mainly aims at a mine hoist which is a non-linear loads in mine electrical power system, that comes to in-situ reactive power compensation of the mine electrical power system. The following work mainly has been done:Firstly it analyzed the reactive compensation development trend and the present research situation in domestic and foreign, determined the research significance; Then it introduced the instant reactive power theory and the reactive current real-time examination based on ip,iq operational mode which is applied in the MSC system; Detailed account of the mine hoist load and its influence on mine electrical power network,and the local compensation of dynamic real-time compensation scheme;Research of the specific methods of mechanical switching phase control and application of neural network system based adaptive compensation.At the end of the article , the system with Matlab simulation mathematical model for the control is build ,and a solid foundation for the further study of MSC has laid.MSC abroad have applied, but applications are few in China. With the continuous development of technology in recent years, several large - scale projects in the country will gradually accept this form of compensation, but most are concentrated in low pressure areas. This research on technology in high voltage system just fill this field blank in the country. In contrast to the traditional dynamic reactive power compensation device, this system reliability, and loss of less the cost, it has brought huge economic benefits to enterprises and the state.
