Investigation And Research On The Colored-Leaf Woody Plant Design Of The Green Spaces Of Residential Areas In Nanjing

Coloed-leaf plants have abundant colors and they are important because they can enrich the color of the plant landscape in residential areas and beautify the environment. In Nanjing which is the earliest garden city in China, it is imperative to make the environment of the residential areas better. Now there is less articles study on the use of the colored-leaf plant in Nanjing residential green space, community quantitative features and landscape evaluation of thecolored-leaf plant. So it is very necessary and useful in studying the actuality, disadvantages and advantanges, development direction of the colored-leaf plants used in residential areas in Nanjing.On the base trend of the classification, implication, application and development on the colored-leaf plant both at home and abroad, and a great deal of field investigation including 34 plots, this paper studies on the community quantitative features of the colored-leaf woody plant, formulates comprehensive index system of the used of the evaluation indexes of the views of the colored-leaf plant, and summarizes the using models and optimization design of colored leaf plant in Nanjing residential areas. The results show that:1. According to my last survey, there are 45 species 24 genera 34 families of colored-leaf woody plants in the residential space,and they are not take full advantage of using, and the native identity is not obvious.2. From three aspects of plant individual, plant arrangement, landscape building, this paper formulates aesthetic feeling evaluation system and sets up the mode of colored-leaf plant landscape in Nanjing residential space. The results show that, the aesthetic feeling quality of colored-leaf plant in Nanjing residential space is well, above half of them are in the gradeâ…¡. The residential areas which are high grade quality and have rich plant species always have better colored-leaf plant landscape.3. The colored-leaf plant landscape design ways in Nanjing residential area incude single planting, clump planting, opposite planting, group planting, mass planting, liner planting, scattered planting, foundation planting, etc, and in the actual using there are many problems such as absence of new kind of excellent, the plant arrangement is simple, level of planting spatial is not clear, less administer. Theefore, this paper summarized the useful and feasible models for the colored-leaf plant landscape design and recommended the feasible using items of colored-leaf plant for the landscape design in Nanjing residential area.
