Wheel loader is one of construction vehicles which is used to load loose material or small block stones at highway, railway, construction, haven, mine and so on. Wheel loader worktool is kind of space multi-bar linkage to load, carry and unload material. So the kinematic, dynamic and fatigue characteristic of worktool has a profound impact on whole machine performance. This paper will do the research on wheel loader worktool with software MSC.ADAMS, MSC.Patran, MSC.Nastran, MSC.Fatigue, in order to reduce cost on prototype manufacture, test and shorten product development cycle.This paper will use 3-D software Solidworks to build wheel loader worktool entity. Rigid-flexible coupling prototype model of wheel loader worktool is established with the theory of finite element analysis and mutli-body dynamic. From the kinematic view, analyze and verify the unload height and angle between linkage of prototype; from the dynamic view, analyze force on the key joints of prototype for symmetrical and eccentric load condition. Make use of S-N fatigue analysis theory to analyze the key parts on wheel loader worktool with the software MSC.Fatigue.This paper use the theory of rigid-flexible coupling to get the accurate results of key joints, providing the basis for fatigue analysis and pin strength design. With the results of dynamic and mode stress, Figure out the fatigue safety factor for key parts, and compare with actual usage, validating correctness of simulation and making the basis of optimizing wheel loader worktool.
