With the development of modern science and technology and the developing automobile industry,? Anti-lock braking system (ABS) has become the necessary device to ensure auto safety. It can greatly reduce the probability of failure when the auto braking. As a kind of active safety device, it can automatically adjust the braking pressure to prevent wheel locked. It will keep auto stability in direction and manipulation and shorten braking distance as soon as possible.This thesis makes the controlling method of ABS controller the main research object.?And a fuzzy control theory is given in ABS control method based on optimal sliding rate. On the basis of dynamic analysis and mathematical model,? a single wheel model, tire model, brake model and half car model have been established in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. The fuzzy logic control model of ABS controller is designed in the tool box of fuzzy logic. This system have been designed to simulate braking process in different roads by the environment. After that, compared the braking effect between logic threshold method and fuzzy logic method in controlling.?Results show that the fuzzy logic control on braking has a more stable performance.? At the same time of prevent wheel lock, the controlling method has shortened braking distance and braking time.?Besides,?the wheel speed and braking pressure data in this design is collected in experiment platform of ABS.?This method makes braking simulation closer to the real car braking progress in randomness and nonlinear.? The results of experiment verify the feasibility of fuzzy logic in controlling the ABS controller. This method has certain reference value in the development of pneumatic ABS controller of medium vehicle.
