In this paper, whose supporting project is the research of Transport Ship Refit to Ocean Replenishment Ship,comes from the Institute of naval equipment, It aims at solving the problem of how to refit the container ship into the ocean replenishment ship.On the modification of the methods, forms, materials, placement and transfer, the helicopter platform installation and removal and other issues studied, and modified for the performance of container ships calculation.The main contents of this paper include the development overview of mobilization of civil ships into war ships, the summarization of the relevant researches.The main method in this paper is through the modular demarcation of the civil ship, according to the mission requirements, adding the wanted module. It purpose to design the most simple and reasonable modification program, under the limited conditions of the original ship. The paper fully use the deck space of the target ship to make a reasonable arrangement of the materials placing, materials transport and helicopter platform. Based on rapid conversion and rapid recovery principle, we present three conversion plans through the analysis. Under the principle of the force method, according to the relevant regulations on the helicopter deck, the paper designed the helicopter landing platform, and checked the strength of the helicopter platform. Finally, we also did the performance computing on the supply ships, which were modified.The conclusions are as follows:under the analysis and comparison of the two conversion plans, the optimal one is placeing the helicopter platform in the middle of the ship; this plan makes the minimal effect on the stability of ship, and facilitates the rapid transition.Conversion plan will eventually need the simulation and the ship model experiments to verify. In the future work we look forward to strengthen the experimental methods to ensure the reliability of conclusions in the study, correct the errors and optimize the deficiencies.
