With the rapid development of social economy, people pay more and more attention to protecting bank of coastal regions and riverbanks, so elastocoast revetment structure becomes one achievement of these concerns. As a new-type revetment material, elastocoast can effectively reduce the wave run-up on the bank slope, and lower the destructive effects of waves to the bank slope.Physical model test is one of the main methods to research the complicated interaction between waves and revetment structures. According to the similarity criterion, the revetment materials'working state under the wave effects can be predicted by physical model tests. It provides important basic data for scientific research, and is of guiding significance for specimen engineering.Wave generator is an important equipment of wave flume. Its scope of work size has important influence on the wave tests. This paper based on wave analog theory, using the popular science calculation software Matlab to compile irregular wave program sequence applied to the experiment conditions in Integrated Laboratory of Harbin Engineering University, make a new improvement on the wave generator.Based on lots of physical model tests of elastocoast, this paper gives the elastocoast's influence on wave reflectance, obtains roughness and osmotic coefficient analyzing the wave run-up on it, thus provides the reference for elastocoast revetment structure design. Through the arrangement of pressure-transducers on the two bottom surfaces of elastocoast, the model test obtains the data of surface wave pressure and undersurface wave pressure under the wave effects, and the paper analyzes the changing rule of wave factors and environment factors. In addition, the paper obtains the wave effect's attenuation degree on the two bottom surfaces of elastocoast revetment structure, as well as the pressure distribution and changing rule between regular wave and irregular wave.
