The air spring has been born one hundred years and has a wide range of applications in recent decades. This reflects the community's requirements of suspension system performance, but also the level of the design and manufacture of continuously improve results. With our country's economic development, improve the living standards of the people, the comfort of vehicles is getting higher and higher requirements. The National standards on the bus division reqire high-level or above large and medium-sized passenger car must be selected air suspension.China's accession to the WTO, it's more and more widespread practiced for manufacturers select the optional passenger car import parts and components to upgrade the level of bus performance and. However, the import system as a whole because of the air suspension of the differences in national conditions, the existence of "acclimatized"; critical parts and components made in China in terms of performance and reliability can not meet the requirements.The purpose of this subject is imported key parts (airbags, a high degree of valve, push rod, shock absorber), a "secondary development, assembly match", designed to meet the conditions of our country road air suspension system, improve air suspension value-added system. Conducive to the spread and application of air suspension, you can quickly upgrade the level of China's passenger car, technology level and market competitiveness, and significantly reduce our country with foreign bus technology, the gap between grades, consolidate and expand the market share of domestic passenger cars.In this paper, a model for passenger car's air suspension is studied, in accordance with manufacturers with the supporting drawings and data of assembly. Three-dimensional geometric models, parts and vehicle's inertial parameters such as moment of inertia are accessed by PRO/E software. It set up SWIFT tire model which is fit for comfort simulation by ADAMS software, based on this semi-vehicle multi-body dynamics model. It acquired the acceleration on the floor of rear bridge and its root-mean-square computing PSD by simulating B class and C class road under different speed.It also acquired spring deformation, tire rolling radius and vertical force between tire and ground. Vehicle's vibration characteristics analysis is get testing the correctness of the model to study the air suspension system on the impact of vehicle ride comfort.The researches show:the vehicle's ride comfort meet the national standards. Further study on vibration characteristics of the suspension found:under different loads, tire vertical force on the ground, not only different amplitude but waveform as well; different class of road surface, tire vertical force on the road surface changed little, but the impact of spring deflection; different speeds, the tires on the road perpendicular to forces change little. This study established the method of tire modeling with ADAMS software in the vehicle ride comfort simulation.It laid the foundation for the future further research. SWIFT tire model used in study is based on the rigid ring of semi-empirical model that the recognition ability for the tire performance and accuracy is to be test.
