Analysis Of Urban Location Based On The National Expressway Network

The city location is a comprehensive concept, it not only refers to the city dominated sites, but also includes the city relative location in the area. And the relative position of spatial relationship with the development of traffic network is inseparable. We know, in recent decades, Chinese traffic network especially the formation of brings the enormous influence for urban development, so to analyze the city location in the expressway network has an important significance.This project first discusses the concept and the development of the location, and puts forward the evaluation standard of the city location and its assessment model on the basis of the location theory, then analyzes the network position of the node cities with the national highway network (i.e. 7918 nets) as the research background. Finally selects the national ground level above city as the research object to apply to the evaluation model of city location aboved,and makes the quantitative analysis of these cities'location of the different positions in national highway; Analysis found that: First, the superiority of the city location's level with expressway network links closely; It not only relates to the expressway's number through this node city, and differently because different the expressway route important degrees. Second, the general patter of the nodes mearsured by the distance measurement index and the gravity model is consistent. but the gravity model more reasonable, because this model not only considers the distance factor, but considers the node citiese'scale level (like the urban population, GDP), etc. Finally makes a comparative analysis about the development level of city itself with the the nodes'location level in the expressway network, and the nodes'location level in the network and railway network.This project'research have certain significance to traffic planning and urban planning of the various levels'expressway network construction.
