| With the extensive use of fossil energy, resulting in global environmental pollution and ecological destruction,have posed a grave menace to humanwell-being and development.Therefor people put on new energy research agenda. Due to the inherently advantages, such as clean, renewable and easy to use, solar is becoming the most important of development of new energy research.Solar power generation is in the process of converting the solar power into electrical power, which has been to approximate 60-year history since 1954. Because of the high cost of solar power, affected by the weather and large defects, solar energy has not yet become the mainstream of current power generation. This paper offers an introduction to Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and battery management.MPPT of PV cells and battery management together not only improves the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation, and extends battery life and ultimately reduce the cost of photovoltaic power generation.Firstly this paper introduces and analyzes the composition of solar independent power system.The system includes power electronics converters, PV array, power storage system,control circuit, data acquisition circuit and so on.Secondly, the paper analyses the electrical characteristics of PV cell.And introduces the commonly used MPPT methods, such as constant voltage tracking method, perturbation and observation method, power feedback method, incremental conductance method and so on. It not only careful analyzes the method of MPPT, and then presents an improved approach for perturbation and observation method, to achieve stability, fast convergence and improved accuracy.Then it introduces and analyzes battery management.It mainly to complete the battery fault alarm, SOC estimation, equalization control and so on.Finally, the hardware and software design is introduced and analyzed,also it feasible for the new algorithm to be optimized. |
