| With the improvement of the society, the demands for better medical conditions are increasing. Therefore, utilizing the advanced communication and electronic technologies, the improvement and development of advanced medical equipment and remote control system are significantly important. The ZigBee is widely used in low-speed wireless sensor networks, with the characteristics of low power, low data rate and low cost. The design of ZigBee-based wireless remote monitor and control system for medical oxygen generators are proposed in this paper.The system comprises wireless gateway module, medical oxygen generator control module and remote center control module. The wireless gateway module is a gateway platform applicable for ZigBee, which is composed of MCU 89C52 and IEEE 802.15.4 agreement-based CC2420 chip. Separate oxygen generator control modules and center control module are connected by ZigBee network. The oxygen generator control module includes MCU, peripheral circuit, control circuit and wireless communication circuit. The control of oxygen generator is realized in MCU program. Based on the analysis of ZigBee agreement, the wireless sensor network gateway protocol model is proposed. Finishing the application layer programmer, the ZigBee nodes are established. Experiments show that, the remote control center module may complete the storage of each kind of data, and has realized the long-distance monitoring effect to each medical oxygen generator through ZigBee wireless networks. The original requirements are realized.The research and development of the proposed system, which provides a new method for the intelligent management of medical equipments, has an excellent application and market prospect. |
