The hydraulic crane is a quite important hoisting equipment that used in projects and constructions. Following the development of economy, especially the development of projects, the requirement for quantity is becoming more and more bigger, and in the meantime the requirement for quality is more and more higher. The hydraulic slewing mechanism is one of the most important mechanisms in crawler crane, which every performance direct affect the working characteristics. In current, while we are designing and producing, the way of hydraulic system depend on experience and analogy, and be assisted by the computer detection system, at last use the prototype machine to test the hydraulic system and find the problems. Through the testing and analysis, we can find the mistake in the design, so we can improve the design and choice the better parts.In this paper, the calculation and model selection report is studied on the background of PR100(100t) hydraulic crawler crane that is developed and produced by TEREX Topower (Shandong) heavy machinery manufacturing Co., Ltd.(1)Research various kinds of slewing mechanism and slewing hydraulic system, at meantime calculating and selecting the slewing hydraulic system of 100t crawler crane.(2)Measuring and analyzing the main factors of slewing hydraulic system, at the same time, giving some new requirement for the control system about slewing mechanism of crawler crane.(3)To improve the design of slewing hydraulic system of crawler crane, and adopt the reduction the impact and wave to know that using parallel damping could reduce the concussion of slewing.In summary, this paper expound that the way of hydraulic system project calculation and selection of parts. The goal is to provide a way about theoretical basis and optimization method of improvement and design in hydraulic system of crawler crane. In the meantime, take the damping valve into the hydraulic system of crawler crane.
